Lets make 2024 the year to embrace wellness
For most of us 2023 has been a year of surviving and not thriving as we have come out of our COVID years with a lot of uncertainty, fear and caution. What used to serve us in the past no longer cuts it for us now.
Most of us have embraced our rediscovered freedom and have travelled again, enjoyed celebrating with our friends and family at restaurants and live concerts. Some of us have already begun rebooting our health journey and searching for more in the natural health space to satisfy their curiosity.
This is quiet natural for women who are in their Autumn years, our perimenopausal years. Some fear this time of our lives and some are really embracing this transition into menopause - our Winter years and then post menopause - our second Spring.

What is Hashimoto's Disease?
Hashimoto’s Disease isn’t a problem of your thyroid like hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism or thyroiditis. It’s actually a problem of the immune system and is an autoimmune disease. This is where your immune system is attacking your thyroid, causing it to under produce its hormones and slowing down all of your metabolic processes. Hashimoto's Disease affects mostly women and is a very common autoimmune disease and has symptoms very similar to those experienced in perimenopause. -
Are you tired of being tired?
Life is so busy and it can feel like a constant battle to find the energy to function when you are tired, stressed, overwhelmed or exhausted! I know it's so easy to grab a quick energy fix when you are feeling rundown, exhausted or burnt out. Most of these 'quick energy fixes' are full of sugar and are highly processed which isn't good for your digestive health, weight or your adrenals. It's important to eat a balanced whole food diet, whether you are a meat eater or a plant based diet.

“Anxiety: What’s Really Going On Beneath the Surface?”
Anxiety is a natural response to stress — but when it becomes chronic, overwhelming or begins to affect daily life, it's often a sign that your body and mind need deeper support.
In recent years, I’ve seen a significant rise in anxiety in women, men, and children — not just due to external uncertainty, but because of internal imbalances like nutritional deficiencies, mineral imbalances (such as copper/zinc), gut dysfunction, and nervous system overwhelm.
Through a combination of naturopathy, personalised nutrition, and my 2025 offering of Body Balance Treatments (which incorporate Muscle Testing, Reiki, Vibrational Medicine and energetic support), I help clients address both the physical and emotional root causes of anxiety — naturally and holistically.
Whether you're seeking clarity, calm, or a reset for your nervous system, I’m here to support your journey.

5 Tips to enjoy your holiday celebrations and not feel exhausted
Our summer weather is perfect for catching up with family and friends over the festive season whether it involves a family picnic, bbq outdoors, trips to the beach or a swim in the pool. The last thing I want my clients to feel is that they can't take part in any festivities due to being on a certain diet or due to their health concerns. It is important for both their physical and mental health that they are able to live their best lives whilst being on their healing journey. I also like my clients to focus on their end goal and if they over indulge it is still okay as we can get back on track tomorrow. -
How stress affects our digestive system and our hormones
Stress is everywhere in our society, especially with snap lock downs and boarder closures along with the pressure to be vaccinated (I'm not anti vax) but I am seeing so much stress in regards to this with my clients and people that I meet. This is triggering so many emotions - sadness, grief, anxiety and anger.
